VFTB 231: Warren B. Smith – Another Jesus Calling

another_jesus_callingSOME OF the most theologically damaging messages for the church today may be found in best-selling Christian books. Case in point: Jesus Calling, a devotional book written by Sarah Young that’s sold over 10 million copies in 26 languages, and was recently released as a special 10th anniversary edition.

Warren B. Smith, author of Another Jesus Calling, explains why the message of Jesus Calling is deceptive and dangerous, and how it indicates a larger problem in the church — our lack of discernment and desire to have our itching ears scratched. 1. My mom bought me this book last year.
I am a former witch, and when I read the introduction and about the “birth” of this book, I immediately noticed that it seemed as though it had come about via automatic writing.
Great job to Warren Smith on picking up on that. Unfortunately it’s hard to get most well intentioned christians to see this…

  2. Thanks so much for having Warren Smith on your show! I have all of his books (except this one- gotta get it!) and have learned so much from him. He’s sounding the alarm! It’s extremely easy to be deceived in these days by the various new age subtle twistings of the biblical teachings. Great job, Mr. Smith – God bless you!
