THE RECENT announcement of an agreement between Turkey and Saudi Arabia to cooperate in supporting the rebels in Syria is an important development. The two nations have not been friendly to one another, partly because the Saudis have strongly opposed the Muslim Brotherhood, which Turkey supports.
