HOW WOULD you react if travel restrictions imposed during a pandemic kept you from returning home?
That’s what happened to Hugh Theriault, the missions pastor at Golgotha Fellowship in Nampa, Idaho. He left a successful career as an agronomist and come to the United States to attend Bible college, and then was blocked from returning to his home in Quebec by rules related to COVID.
So, Hugh relocated to his wife’s home state of Idaho, sold their home in Quebec without ever returning, and is using his education and language skills to reach out via the Internet to the French-speaking nations of the world—of which there are many more than most of us Americans realize.
