WHEN GOD divided mankind, He fixed the borders of the peoples according to the number of the sons of God. In other words, Yahweh assigned those nations to bene elohim, supernatural beings who eventually rebelled against Him and began masquerading as gods for the nations.

He describes how he and co-author Charlie Wen developed the story, why they chose the time period around 220 B.C., and how they linked East and West in a compelling plot that stayed within a biblical framework.
